Yacht Club DJs - never heard of them before but I will definitely be seeing them if they come to Adelaide again! For cute and completely danceable mashups of techno with old favourites including Stayin' Alive and The Lion King's I Just Can't Wait to Be King, these guys are second to none.

Emily Haines of Metric. I was in the second row! Unfortunately the front row's constituents were exclusively large and male.
Nothing, not even La Roux's cancellation, not being able to see Art vs. Science or spending an hour in the queue for the EFTPOS machine and thus missing Lady Sovereign, could attenuate the buzz of Parklife Adelaide. Volunteering for
Heaps Decent at the gates allowed me to meet so many great people and I would love to support them again next year. Co-founder Nina has such a passion to equip underprivileged young people and it is great to see the charity getting support from such a huge festival.
Now onto festival style: there were orange skin and leotards galore, but here are a few gems.
Yes, the sunnies are Maison Martin Margiela. Yes, I'm ready to die now that I've seen them in person.
Although it's hard to see, this girl was totally pulling off stay-up stockings without a garter belt. I'd do it too if I had the legs for it!!
I love that she's wearing florals without looking like every other high street clone there.
Fringing as you've never seen it before - the beauty of this coat was the back.
The trilby was actually patchwork, but it didn't show up very well on camera. It added so much to the outfit!
I completely forgot to take any photos of my own outfit, but I can't say it was particularly inspirational anyway. Nevertheless I think I'll be on the GlamAdelaide galleries soon and I'll show you then.
xoxo

PS: I've been contacted by Annie who's trying to sell this season's Yves Saint Laurent Arty Ovale ring in size 5. It is a gorgeous ring which sold out everywhere, but unfortunately she bought the wrong size. If you're interested,
contact me and I'll give you the details.
