Kym Miaco, what a voice.

Kym Miaco

Youtube is largely a cesspool of lacklustre procrastinatory tools that serve little more than to take up space in the world wide web. It takes something quite extraordinary to get me to spend precious time watching strangers on the internet. So trust me when I say Kym Miaco is one such extraordinary young thing. The 16-year-old local with a voice destined for greatness is already a seasoned performer and songwriter, and I had the privilege of taking some new shots for her portfolio a few months ago. Have a listen to her jazzy tune The Big White City Rescued Me - it's my absolute favourite and just wonderful live.

Sun & Soul

I'm over the moon to present to you the results of a collaboration between 18-year-old photographer Claire Alice Young and myself. When she emailed me some time ago suggesting that we blend our creativities together and see what happens, I have to admit that I was fairly overwhelmed that she would want to work with me! We started with the idea of a marching band theme and went from there: I'll let the images speak for themselves. Special thanks to my friend Lucy, who isn't signed to an agency but no doubt will be soon. I'll showcase more of Claire's work soon, and I'm thrilled to say we have another collab in the works. Film stills and outtakes are available on Claire Alice Young Photography and Chanelle Leslie // photography now.

$100 Shopbop blog giveaway

The giveaway is now closed and the winner is Lucy from Rusted Revolution!

Websites are like friends. There are those old friends that will stay true to you forever, and no matter how long you spend without seeing each other, every time you meet again it's like you never left. (Zanita and Max Wanger are two such blogs for me.) There are those that you used to love, but then they changed and you're left wishing they were what they used to be, like Eleanor Hardwick's now sparse site. There are those that won't talk to you anymore for some inexplicable reason, like Miss Couturable. And every once in a while, there are those friends you become absolutely smitten with when you meet them for the first time. Shopbop is one such site.

With everything from C&C California to LNA tees to glorious Alexander Wang shirts (curiously categorised under 'sexy tops'), you could literally never buy from anywhere else and have a perfectly diverse wardrobe. Tell you what, I'll help you out a bit. How about a $100 gift card courtesy of the Shopbop blog? Yes? Ok.

Just like Not So Naked on Facebook (links on the side of this site) or follow on Twitter (@notsonaked) and you can go in the draw to win! Leave a comment with your email (so I can contact you if you win) to let me know you've entered, and Bob's your uncle.

The draw will end on Tuesday, 19 July and is open internationally except to Pennysylvania bloggers.

Good luck!
